A good friend of mine grows many types of peppers from exotic such as these all the way down to bell peppers..let me tell you first hand these things are no joke..for example a lot of people are under the impression that habenero are the hottest...Wrong!...habs are rated at between 250,000 and 350,00 on the scoville scale...Bhut Jolokia are rated at over 1,000,000!..they burn for a good 20 minutes or so...and the same on the other end too!...Watch out!
That scares me! lol
ReplyDeleteWould this be classified as an ornamental pepper? And not really meant to be eaten?
ReplyDeleteWell it's eaten in India..and used to ward off wild elephants too no joke!..but i have eaten it whole and it was the hottest thing i've ever eaten..
ReplyDeleteHehehe... habs are hot enough for me!
ReplyDeleteI love that your peppers actually look like flames!
ReplyDeletemy eyes are burning just from looking at them! LOL thanks for the warning :)
ReplyDeleteoooOOoooo Scotch Bonnet's big brother ;) LOL I would not be brave enough to actually try one... Scotches are as hot as I will go, and I only use those for Jamaican Jerk... LOL
ReplyDeleteThese peppers are awesome, I had half of one on a pizza the other day and just about survived. They are hot hot hot.
